Alternative Health & Nutrition Consulting

First and foremost, my job is to consult with you on the state of your health, your diet, and your lifestyle habits. I approach health from an integrative perspective, so while we do certainly discuss diet and nutrition in our consultations, I also put a lot of emphasis in assessing environmental factors and external interferences affecting the state of someone's overall vitality and well-being. 

During an initial consultation, we go over your health history your main goals and concerns, and we begin to develop a trajectory for the path of our work together. We will discuss the more pressing dietary and lifestyle improvements that can be made, supplements and herbs that can support you, and specific functional labs or a customized meal plan may be suggested to support you in your next steps. 

I will note that many of my clients eat a moderately to very healthy diet, yet still feel extremely unwell and are struggling with their health, however not for a lack of trying. In cases like these, we will spend more time together assessing and investigating the underlying causes and factors that may be at play. Sometimes, diet is not the underlying cause, but impaired digestion, pathogens, leaky gut, overwhelmed detoxification pathways, environmental toxin exposures, and so on, are playing a major role and require us to dive deeper to get results.

Functional Lab Testing

I offer functional lab testing in my practice, and I may suggest it when I feel that it is necessary to have data when working with certain symptom profiles and complaints.
